I was a former employee. From an inside perspective, I can state this a fly by night operation. The owner Gary Sheperd is an arrogent bastard. The equipment is a D.O.T nightmare, and the pay is terrible.
Shepards is by far the worst customer service I've ever received. They had my lawnmower for over five (5) weeks when the originally stated it would only take a week, the best part was when I got it back, it wouldn't start. When I called they told me someone would stop-by to take a look, three weeks later at dinner time someone from the shop knocked on our door to help fix our mower we had already sold due to our 4' high grass problem. We support buying from local businesses, with so many great companies around this area to choose from I'd go somewhere else that actually cares.
Great staff. They know what they are doing and are very helpful. I have had my equipment worked on by them a few times when I have broken them. They fixed everything and even went the extra mile of cleaning the mower and chainsaw
Glen was super helpful with explaining all the features of their snowblowers and making sure I got one that fits my needs. Love to buy local and Shepherds is the best.
Good quality sales and service. I use them for my snowthrower and lawnmower. I've always been happy with them they also collect my equipment and drop it off.
