I like HANNAFORDS for quick shopping i can’t afford their meats but for bread milk and coffee it’s a great store

The prices are kind of high considering nearby Market Basket.
I typically accept the higher prices here for the convenience, but today I tried to check out a cart full of groceries and they only had the "14 or less items" register open, plus 2 self-checkouts. When I asked a cashier at an unlit register if she was opening, I received a cold and unapologetic "No." I started ringing my own products up, but was soon hearing the annoying "Please wait for assistance" message...there was no assistance coming. I wasted an hour of my time and Hannaford lost at least $100 sale when I walked out frustrated because of their horrible customer service.
